Re: CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
PC Bulletin 2020-01 (As Amended) modifies PC Bulletin No. 2020-01 dated March 17, 2020 and April 29, 2020. PC Bulletin 2020-01 (As Amended) will be effectively rescinded on June 30, 2020, except as provided below:
- E-signatures authorized under Oklahoma law, shall be valid and binding for any claim or claim related document.
- The term of extended grace periods, afforded to insureds pursuant to the original bulletin, shall be allowed to expire upon reaching the end of the extension.
- Medical professional liability insurers are encouraged to continue territorial coverage expansion for providers to help facilitate delivery of health care in Oklahoma, such as expansion of telehealth, in connection with COVID-19 and all other diseases.
- Insureds request for midterm audit of policies as a result of change of risk/premium, shall be continued through year-end 2020.
- The term of extended claims reporting periods, afforded to insureds pursuant to the original bulletin, shall be allowed to expire upon reaching the end of the extension.
