The Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) has partnered with Kaplan Financial Education (Kaplan) to provide exam study manuals, which are available in both physical and electronic formats. This is the OID’s primary source for exam material and manuals may be used for both Adjusters and Producers alike. Please note, some material is obtained from a national data bank developed by seasoned subject matter experts.
Manuals, both physical and electronic, must be purchased online via a credit card or online bank payment. You may elect to mail or pick up physical manuals. Physical manuals must be picked up at either the Oklahoma City or Tulsa locations during regular business hours. Electronic formats will be delivered via e-mail upon purchase completion and may be viewed and downloaded through the Kaplan portal.
Pre-Licensing Education, for any license type, is neither required nor regulated by the OID. However, you may choose to take an exam prep course offered by an outside Provider. In doing so, please be aware Providers may offer their own study material. All fees shall be deemed earned and are not refundable. Manuals may not be returned nor are payments refunded for any reason. Some states require a city and/or state tax fee, which are not included in the above-mentioned pricing. If there is a city and/or state tax, it will be applied to the final total at checkout.
