New CE Provider –

New CE providers are required to submit an online application with a $200.00 annual fee* (plus an SBS processing fee). Providers may be a business entity or an individual and may have multiple instructors presenting on behalf of the Provider (refer to Step 3: Instructor Application). Please allow 5 business days for the application to be reviewed. SBS will generate an automatic email with the Provider’s new PIN number upon approval.

Process:

  1. Submit provider application
  2. Check primary contact’s email account for an OID email request for additional information
  3. Allow 5 business days for the application to be reviewed then check your SBS account for provider status
  • Access State Based Systems
  • Under Step 1: Select your jurisdiction: select Oklahoma from the pull down box
  • Click on View All Tools
  • Select New Provider Application
  • Complete the online application
  • Write down and keep the PIN and transaction number provided at the end of the application
  • Allow 5 business days for the application to be reviewed. You may check status via SBS during this process.

AFTER APPROVAL- Sign up for SBS for Organizations:

  • Access State Based Systems
  • Under Step 1: Select your jurisdiction: select Oklahoma from the pull down box
  • Click on Signup for SBS for Organizations to create your User Account allowing you to access all jurisdictions
  • Login to SBS by selecting Login to SBS for Organizations
  • Click on Go To Add Entity then add your provider licenses to your SBS account using your Oklahoma jurisdiction Provider ID and PIN*
  • Contact the SBS Help Desk using the assistance button at the top of this screen should you need help

CE Provider Renewal –

CE Providers are required to renew annually with a $200.00 renewal fee* (plus an SBS processing fee.) The renewal is available 90 days prior to the expiration date. If the providership is not renewed, it will expire and the existing active CE courses will not be available.

  • Access State Based Systems
  • Under Step 1: Select your jurisdiction: select Oklahoma from the pull down box
  • Click on Login to SBS for Organizations and enter your information
  • Your SBS account screen will be displayed, scroll to the Education Providers section and click on Go To Dashboard
  • Click on the Renewal Application button. A list of current providers and courses will be displayed. Select renew from the pull down box beside the desired provider. Click the Next button to continue through the application until finished then submit along with renewal payment.

CE Provider Reinstatement –

A providership may be reinstated within one year of the expiration date. Upon reinstatement, existing CE courses (with time remaining on their effective date) will also reinstate and retain their original effective and expiration dates. A double renewal fee of $400.00* (plus an SBS processing fee) will be assessed.

  • Your SBS account screen will be displayed, scroll to the Education Providers section and click onGo To Dashboard
  • Click on the Renewal Application button. A list of current providers and courses will be displayed. Select renew from the pull down box beside the desired provider number. Click the Next button to continue through the application until finished then submit along with renewal payment.

*The fee is $0.00 for not-for-profit/non-profit, Publicly Funded Institution or Professional Association: however, a copy of the tax exempt permit or articles of incorporation/organization will be requested prior to approval.
